I was intrigued when traveling to work every day to see the fast appearance of several rust-effect boxes placed on the hillside, then their transformation into a stylish multi-level restaurant with large windows, wooden decking and enough green to make stepping inside a breath of fresh air in the city- and all this in Vake!

Smartly-dressed staff are on-hand to welcome you and show you to a table, and service thereafter is fast, friendly and attentive. The menu is a mix of Georgian and European, so all tastes will be catered for and portions are generous. I can highly recommend their Caesar Salad and anything from their selection of meat- cooked to juicy perfection. Their wine menu is also extensive.

The atmosphere is upmarket and almost luxurious- making it the perfect spot for a business dinner or more sophisticated dining experience with friends and loved ones. They also, as might be expected with the word 'beer' in the name, cater to sporting fans and show the latest matches on a large screen upstairs.

Shut yourself away from the noise and stress of the city and head into the Varazi Beer Garden- a highly recommended spot for your next meal.
