Shorena’s is a popular hotel and bar/restaurant in Kazbegi, located on the main square in the center of the town. 

Its dilapidated chalet exterior gives way to a cozy interior stuffed with dark wood furniture and flags of various countries. 

Shorena’s mainly draws visitors due to its location rather than outstanding food or service, but the small menu has all the hits of Georgian cuisine and the staff is patient with those who don’t speak Georgian or Russian. 

The restaurant charges tourist prices, so be ready to open your wallet a little wider.
