SAPERE, KUTAISI

A cozy wine bar and restaurant in Imereti, this is a treasure well-worth visiting as you explore the region.

Imereti has always been known for its wine and hospitality, and its cuisine has a special place on the Georgian menu.

Among the wonderful wines included on the menu, guests loves the Otskhanuri Sapere, ideal with the soft Sulguni cheese rolls. Or try the Tsolikauri, made with Imeretian vine varieties, which perfectly matches Ckmeruli, a traditional Georgian dish of chicken in garlic cream sauce. And if that's not enough to tempt you, let's hear what the owners themselves say about it:

"Have you ever tried Tsolikauri wine and roast Geguti’s chicken with blackberry sauce made on cast-iron frying pan? Roast barbell caught in the Rioni River with a glass of cold Tsitskha wine? Salad made of trout raised in Bagdadi’s mountain rivers, vegetables picked in the morning in Patriget and Imeretian seasonal fruits with Krakhuna wine? Adjametian buffalo cheese and succulent tomato picked in the morning in Partskhanakebi? Imeretian Khachapuri made on the plying pan and leek’s walnut nests pickled in the pot? We bet not yet..."

The menu changes seasonally, so you'll not get tried of visiting!
