You get a good mix of locals and foreigners going there and the atmosphere is hostel-style laid-back and welcoming.

The staff are friendly and multi-lingual and the food is cheap and filling: we recommend the Tofu Sandwich & Fries, Falafel Wrap, and large Vegan Pizza! And there is a wide choice of teas and reasonably priced wines and cocktails. 

They also offer a book-swap service and a space for meetings and charitable events, usually related to helping animals.
