THE GREEN CAPE

Georgia's Green Cape (Mtsvane Kontskhi) has been a popular tourist spot since the 19th century due to its spectacular views and diverse nature.
The area, named for its wealth of vegetation growing out of rich red earth, is home to the Botanical Garden, hosting thousands of rare flowers, trees, bushes and other plants. You'll also see tea plantations to either side of the road as you enter the green zone.
The Green Cape rises 70-90 m above sea level and its waters make one of the best diving spots on the coast.
