El Galeon is a raunchy, racy underground bar with a pirate theme that smacks you in the face. 

They serve beer German on draught and Georgian brews by the can and simple cocktails to a young, mostly local, clientele. 

Their Facebook page is plastered with photos of half-naked women, motorcycles, and arms full of tattoos. They often have live music – both DJs playing typical Georgian electronic and electric guitarists blaring classic rock and 90s grunge. 

Prices are rock bottom; you won’t find much cheaper in Kutaisi. El Galeon gets the most crowded after 2 AM when other bars close and the late night stragglers trickle in for a couple more drinks before they shut down around 4 am, but you can almost always find a few regulars hovering around the bar.
