Café Tourist is a completely different place from what its name suggests, so don't be fooled- let yourself be tempted as it actually offers a unique experience in a forgotten setting. 

There are limited seats, but the fact guarantees a lot of intimacy. Two parakeets greet you with sing-song voices while a small, old television is broadcasts a popular series. Rugs cover the floors and the walls display messages from everywhere, posted by clients, alongside a clutter of random trinkets. 

The owner, a man in his mid-70s, works alone with his wife. This restaurant is like few others: they take care of you and talk to you as if you are one of the family. 

And, befitting the 'visiting your grandparents' house" setting, the food is excellent! Where.ge recommends the pork on a spit with potatoes with a glass of wine. Vegetarians are also well catered for.
