Budka brings people with common interests in culture together, as a community, in order to enjoy some simple pleasures. It’s a venue for a variety of events – informal lectures, music listening sessions, art performances, and film screenings. 

Budka regularly hosts food residencies led by invited guests who cook dishes meant to be shared with everyone, featuring a diverse variety of Georgian wines: some of the best, some of the most affordable, and many of the distinctly local varieties. 

Run by a group of friends, the space is a collective experiment in creating an independent and sustainable cultural venue in Tbilisi.
