Located on, you guessed it, the Black Sea coast, some 45km north of Batumi in Shekvetili, the Black Sea Arena is the biggest open concert hall in the Caucasus. With a capacity of 10,000 and designed by architects from German company Drei Architekten, Black Sea Arena hosted Christina Aguilera for its official opening on July 30th, 2016. Since then, it has seen its audience rocked by the likes of Aerosmith, and this summer, on July 19th, will see rock legend and Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant shower music lovers with a whole lotta love at the Black Sea Jazz Festival.
