Badiauri calls itself an agro-tourist complex. Located just 70 km from Tbilisi, it is perfect for a day trip - or you can spend the night in their hotel for a more immersive visit.
The area has historically been a center of Georgian agricultural production, and now the complex aims to support the tradition of farming as a livelihood. Less touristic than similar agro-tourism spots in other parts of Kakheti, Badiauri prides itself on being authentic, and connected to local people at its heart.
Guests can participate in all sorts of agricultural practices, such as baking bread, dipping churchkhela, or harvesting grapes.Their simple but comfortable rooms are a nice place to relax after a long afternoon in the fields, and a soothing glass of locally made wine!
They also host events, business meetings, conferences, entertainment and sports competitions.
