AGRO MARKET IN TELAVI

The Telavi Agro Market is a huge traditional market where nearly a hundred stands deliver flavors of greens within an invigorating hustle and bustle.

The place is full of local products, including meat, cheese, herbs, churchkhela, spices, candies, bread, canned vegetables, and fish.

The churchkhela, a traditional candle-shaped candy, makes a tasty souvenir to take away from the market(or chew on as you wander). 

Prices there are cheaper than in Tbilisi markets. For instance, the average price for a churchkela is GEL 2 and a sachet of spices costs GEL 1.

WHERE: From the Bus Station, take Qetevan Tsamebuli Street to reach the center. Just before the crossing , on your left you will see the entrances to the market
