Opened in May 2018, 41° Gradus is the most secret of speakeasy bars in Tbilisi. Located in an inner yard behind Liberty (Freedom) Square, no sign shows the way in, and the bar itself is hidden behind a normal grey door opening onto a few steps heading underground.
The name 41° refers to an avant-garde group of Georgian futurists in the 1920s, led by Ilia Zdanevitch and his brother. 41 is also the latitude of Tbilisi, it is one degree more than vodka, and is the temperature of the delirium coming from fever. But don't worry- the cocktails served in by the most-experienced bartender won’t bring you to this state!
Special attention is paid to the origins of the products, and cocktails are made with the most exquisite alcohols. The menu is changed on a weekly basis but customers can ask for tailor-made cocktails, created especially for their taste.
Open every day from 7 pm to 1 am, the bar can only accommodate 25 persons, in order to provide the best service to their clientele.
