VIRTUAL REALITY ART EXHIBITION OF THE SOUTH CAUCASUS

On January 25 and 26, Fabrika is hosting the first regional virtual art exhibition, introducing virtual reality videos created by young artists which explore people and landscapes affected by conflict.

The show is organized by Elva, a company that builds innovative web and mobile solutions to support people and organizations in post-conflict environments in more than 15 countries. It comes within the framework of the PeaceVR project, which uses VR technologies to foster interaction and confidence-building among people in the South Caucasus region.

Through the PeaceVR project, young artists were given the chance to learn VR filming techniques and went on to produce 12 different videos, supported by international mentors.

Special virtual reality headsets will be provided at the exhibition.

The two-day event is to start at 6PM and run till 10 PM at Fabrika, 8 Egnate Ninoshvili Street, Tbilisi.
