Georgia has much to discover in terms of natural beauty, but below we're highlighting three of the best parks for walking, boating, trail-walking and family fun!

MARTVILI CANYON

Martvili Canyon is just 45 km from Kutaisi, and if you're on your way to the Black Sea, it makes a great place to take a break, refresh and explore- and it used to be the favorite bathing spot of the royal Dadiani family!

The Martvili Canyon Visitor Center is located in Inchkhuri village. A 700- meter circular trail starts from the visitors’ center and passes along the Dadianis' historic walkway. There are two bridges, three viewing platforms, and a 30-step historic staircase built from limestone.

Take a 300-meter, one-way boat-trip on a section of the Abasha river and enjoy the beautiful views of the canyon. It’ also a great place to enjoy diving and exploring beautiful places under the water. The canyon welcomes visitors weekdays and weekends, too.

OKATSE CANYON

We have a surprise for extreme lovers. Enjoy the hanging trail in Okatse Canyon and spend 2-3 hours walking in the sky. The trail passes through Dadiani historic forests, 780 meters above ground, bringing you to a panoramic view, where visitors have chance to take photos with the smart camera installed on the area.

Okatse Canyon is in the village of Gordi, Khoni municipality, and makes the best destination for weekend days out. 

PROMETHEUS CAVE

Prometheus Cave is often regarded as the postcard destination of Georgia. A magical cave full of stunning curtains of stalactites and stalagmites, you’ll feel like you’re stepping into a fairy world. Prometheus Cave is located in Tskaltubo municipality, Kumistavi village There are 22 halls but only six are open for tourists. 

It is possible to walk through 1420 meters of cave territory, visit the halls and enjoy a quiet boat tour on the underground river, floating through colorfully-lit caves.
