Lovely, shiny, weird, but mostly SMALL! Patara Gallery is a single room underneath the streets of Old Tbilisi. Comprised of only one art piece at a time, you can’t access the gallery but only get blown away by glimpsing through the glass front.

If you ever bought something “Made in China”, your product has definitely seen the inside of such a thing – a container. Well, in Georgia they made an art gallery out of it. Previously motoring through the town to pop up at random squares and alleys, they finally settled down to showcase the best artists of the region.

Probably most comparable to ordinary art galleries, this place exhibits fantastic art and mesmerizing works from a wide range of different techniques and genres. Strolling through the city, a visit is more than worth it.
