If you ever dreamed of becoming a racing driver, here’s your chance! This racetrack was the last to be built in the Soviet Union and has recently been totally rebuilt and remodelled. Apart from hosting international racing events, it offers several exciting driving experiences to the aspiring racer or instruction to anyone wishing to improve and expand their motoring skillset.
Take the wheel of a Formula Alfa open-wheel racing car around the 4.1 km circuit, or sit in for a hair-raising ride as a passenger in the two-seater version of the car. Several other sports car, motorcycle or off-road drives and rides are available here, while the karting circuit will satisfy those with a more competitive streak and give you and your friends or family an adrenaline-packed day out only a short drive away from Tbilisi. Karts suitable for children over the age of 6 are available.
If you fancy brushing up on your driving skills, the Rustavi International Motorpark offers courses on night-driving, handling snow and ice, vehicle safety and off-road techniques. Perhaps some instruction on their muddy obstacles might be the key to your confidence to get out into rural Georgia and head on up to Tusheti and Svaneti to discover the magic of the wilder parts of Georgia?
