Batumi never sleeps, even as the weather gets too chilly for all but the bravest to turn their backs to the sea and focus on the culture more than the sun. 

On September 28-29, the beautiful city of the Black Sea coast as an interesting offer for those looking for some outdoor fun: the Batumi Kite Festival.

Get ready to witness the wonder of over 100 different kites taking to the air- be in the central park area when the festival kicks off at noon. Bring your own kite, learn how to make a kite and grab your chance to learn from kite-flying masters.

The event, organized by Batumi Sports center and Kitedreams Georgia, will have DJs playing in the background to keep it lively and even more uplifting.

If the weather is bad at noon, as it can sometimes be in Batumi, the festival will kick off as soon as the sun peaks out of the clouds.

The Batumi Kite Festival is supported by Batumi City Hall within the frames of “Idea Batumi” project.
