With the new message, the National Tourism Administration launched a campaign that includes gifting a bottle of wine to tourists arriving at Georgian Airports.
"Gamarjoba Dear Guest, You’ve only stepped on our land - the birthplace of wine, and you already know our most important word - “Hello”. Georgia is a foodie heaven so bigger pants might come in handy. Here you’ll meet people who wear their heart on their sleeve. Hospitality is our second name, so receive this gift as a sneak peek of what's to come. We wish you a pleasant stay and see you around! Regards, Georgia,“ reads the text on the bottle of wine, which Mariam Kvrivishvili, Head of the National Tourism Administration, gifted to tourists arriving at Tbilisi International Airport.
Tourists arriving at Tbilisi, Batumi and Kutaisi International Airports will receive Saperavi wine as a gift.
The project is being carried out as part of the National Tourism Administration's marketing campaign and aims to position Georgia as a hospitable country, with the emphasis on wine bottle messages that Georgia is a wine country with its unique traditions, culture and culinary.
This form of gift, with its original message, creates a positive feeling for travelers from the very first minutes of their arrival and encourages them to travel to Georgia again and share the positive emotion they will receive from this county with their relatives.
“We have launched a very positive campaign at all three international airports in Georgia. As part of the campaign, we will symbolically hand over the Georgian wine to our guests, featuring the key messages that properly represent the hospitality of our country. We are pleased that this campaign has brought a lot of positive emotions to tourists, saying they have never had such an experience while traveling to other countries,” said the Head of the National Tourism Administration.
