GERMAN ROMANTICISM: CHAMBER MUSIC CONCERT IN TBILISI

A Chamber Music Concert - German Romanticism is to be held at Tbilisi State Conservatory on December 12, dedicated to and organized within the Georgian-German year celebration program.

Georgian pianist Anano Gokieli, alongside German cellist Konstantin Heidrich, is to perform masterpieces of famous composers Beethoven, Brahms, Schumann and Mendelson.

Heidrich gained acclaimed as a cellist of the Faure Quartett; having performed with the world’s leading orchestras, he holds number of musical awards both as a quartet cellist and as a soloist. Heidrich is a professor for cello at the Universität der Künste in Berlin, Germany.

Anano Gokieli was born and raised in Georgia, getting into music from a very early age. She studied in Glasgow and Berlin and has won numerous awards throughout her musical career, one of them notably the prize for Best Pianist at the Paula Salomon-Lindberg-Wettbewerb competition in 2009. From 2013, Gokieli is also working at the Berlin University of Arts.
