On June 21, the Four Dimensional Monster Lobster Band is to perform on the main stage of the Tbilisi Open Air, on the day of the headliner of the festival Franz Ferdinand.

Four Dimensional Monster Lobsters was launched in January 2019, in Tbilisi. The members of the band integrated their creative works in the psychedelic synthpop genre. They currently work on the first, Secret Missions album.

Two music projects – Enforcement and Beqa will present on the electronic music and visual arts stage EYESTAGE.

12 bands, as well as musical projects took part in the final concert of the Tbilisi Newcomers 2019. Along with the newcomer of the year, the judges revealed those participants, who will take to the different stages of the festival. Forest Rain, Explorers’ Vibe and Tornike Gagoshvili will perform during the Singer Stage on the acoustic music and jazz stage. 

Tbilisi Newcomers is the initiative of Tbilisi Open Air, aiming to discover the emerging bands, as well as the musical projects. Nearly 80 bands/projects expressed the desire of participating in the Newcomers of 2019. 21 of them were given an opportunity of participating in the showcases. Tbilisi Newcomers is organized by Tbilisi Open Air and the ‘Sardafi’ (Basement) platform. Tbilisi City hall is the partner of the project, while the music shop AVB represents the exclusive partner of Newcomers.

Tbilisi Open Air is to take place on 21, 22, 23 June at Lisi Wonderland. Franz Ferdinand, Mogwai, UNKLE, Rhye, David August, The Subways, Michelle Gurevich, 1200 Micrograms, as well as ‘Green Room’ are the headliners of the festival. The event is to bring together approximately 70 performers in total.
