On December 26-28, the first ever sample sale of the renowned Tata Naka brand, from Georgian born designers Tamara and Natasha Surguladze, residing in London, will take place in Lolita, Chovelidze Street, 5, Tbilisi.
Twins Tamara and Natasha Surguladze graduated from Central St Martins in 2000, with a collection that gave a kick start to their successful career as a designer duet, the brand name coming from their childhood nicknames Tata and Naka.
Three times in a row, the British Fashion Council awarded the designers with the New Generation Awards at London Fashion Week.
Tata Naka clothing “concentrates on innovative shapes, modern clean lines and Stolen Memories which celebrates the quirky and fun aspects of design and specializes in beautiful digital print which are all produced from original artwork created by the girls themselves,” their website reads.
Tata Naka also produces accessories, footwear, jewelry, swimwear, scarves and a childrenswear 'Tata Naka Shrunk' “to compliment the mainline womenswear collection in miniature."
