The State Silk Museum is to host the personal exhibition of Georgian artist Nino Chubinishvili (CHUBIKA) entitled ‘5th Room’ on Dcember 15, opening at 7PM.
Nino Chubinishvili’s 5th Room project exposition was especially prepared to complement the space of the Silk Museum in Tbilisi, representing new works from the artist created in different media, with which the author attempts to tell the story of metamorphosis and transformation to the imaginative realm, described through sculptures, sound, installations and projections; a journey to the different layers of the human consciousness.
Born in 1969 in Tbilisi, Nino Chubinishvili is often regarded as one of the most talented artists of the contemporary Georgian visual arts scene, noted for her works in theater art and fashion, with her works presented at numerous exhibitions in Georgia and internationally. The exhibition at the Silk Museum will be on until December 30.
