Fancy escaping into a world of classical music this weekend? On February 10, the Djansug Kakhidze Tbilisi Center for Music and Culture is hosting a concert of the Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Giorgi Jordania. 

Young Georgian pianist Datuna Aladashvili, graduate of the Julliard School of Performing Arts, New York, is to perform Beethoven’s concerto for piano and orchestra N3.

Masterpieces of Ludwig van Beethoven, Richard Wagner and Richard Strauss are also in the concert program, with an overture for the opera “Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg” by Wagner, and a suite from the opera “Der Rosenkavalier” by Strauss to be performed by Jordania.
