The story begins in the 1910s, at a time when Beliashvili Street, now a famous restaurant area, boasted an old water mill. No one knows what fate would have awaited this historical relic if the current owners of  "Tsiskvil Jgupi" hadn't chosen the place for their first-class Georgian restaurant. Architect Mamuka Chkhaidze kept the relief of terrace untouched and turned the natural waterfall and old water mill into a must-see spot. 

The restaurant opened in 2002 and quickly gained popularity. Head up to Tskhneti (just outside the capital city) to try out some authentic Khinkali in a genuinely Old Georgian atmosphere!
