Amaghleba Street has a cute little studio-café below ground, easy to spot thanks to the cart of ceramics outside. Inside, you’ll find a light open area, that fashionable exposed brickwork, and old wooden furniture. Choose a table and enjoy being surrounded by ceramics made by the owner (and fine-wire sculptures made by her husband)- and she’ll keep on molding, sanding and painting her new wares as her mother cooks for you in the kitchen. The menu is limited and not for those on a budget, but everything- even the plates the food is served on- is handmade. Browse while you wait- everything on the shelves is for sale, though you’ll have to ask the price.
