A few minutes’ walk from Gori’s flagship attraction the Stalin Museum, this large and airy café is perfect for a quick stop before moving on.

Both Georgian and Western options are on the menu. Don’t be put off by the typically Georgian, but charming shortcoming of having poorly translated menus; “Bowels in Clay Pot” is not an exotic dish endemic to Georgia.

Endemic to this café though, is their special Khachapuri recipe which we have not experienced anywhere else; blended with the cheese are beetroot leaves and sour cream, which combine for a unique and surprising experience. It's a popular spot for evening drinks, too.
