This family-run Georgian restaurant is nestled next to the main road and backs into an oak wood which dips down into a gorge and up the other side. 

Sit in the main road-side restaurant or chose a private room overlooking the oaks. All rooms are decked out in wood and have heaters or fireplaces.

In warmer weather, you can head into the terrace garden, cross the bridge to the other side of the gorge and sit at a table on a sheltered wooden platform. 

The food is traditional, made to order, fresh and delicious. Staff are friendly and polite. This makes a great place to head to when you want a few hours out of the city in the clean woodland air. Come with your family and let the kids play while you eat and drink!
