Once upon a time, on this very site, I was gushing praise about the deliciousness of Burger House Tbilisi. 

“I sit here writing these words a matter of minutes after making dinner plans at this very restaurant. Tonight is the fourth time in seven days that I find myself at Burger House Tbilisi; I had dinner there last night too,” I wrote, eagerly anticipating my return. 

And while I never lied to you, those words were written in a different age. That was before my world was turned upside-down when I came upon something that I had hitherto believed to be impossible: an even tastier burger shop. Welcome to Pipes!. 

Located in the hipster Mecca of Tbilisi, Pipes offers a proper out-of-body religious experience. When a friend first took me there, I was skeptical. Boy was I wrong to be! The sheer richness of the flavor, the texture, the quality of the meat, the fries — everything was simply magnificent. So far, I’ve tried their steakhouse and mushroom burger, the Uptown, the Pipes classic, and the Burgazm. It would be a futile exercise to try put the experience into words; you just have to go and try for yourself. Let's just say that the naming of that last one is no joke...
