PARAVANI LAKE

The biggest lake in Georgia is Paravani Lake in the Samtske-Javakheti region, and also the lowest at 2.2 meters above sea level..

You can grab seven different tours here: pedestrian, car, bicycle and horse-riding. Bird-watching towers are also available as this park is best known for its bird-watching opportunities at certain times of year.

In winter, the lake freezes, making a magical sight with the backdrop of the snowy mountains and plains.

Dress warmly as a chill wind can blow across the open area in any season.
