British newspaper The Guardian has published an article on Georgia, entitled One Last Time over Georgia: Drone Photography. The article was published on October 11, capturing breathtaking views of Georgia through the drone photographs made by Amos Chapple, one of the pioneers of drone photography, as the recently published article states. 

“Georgia was one of the last countries with relatively open skies, but on September 1, it imposed tight restrictions on drones” it says, and so Amos Chapple arrived in Georgia ‘with a high-end quadcopter to make one last aerial record of the country’s mountains, lowlands and cities before the new rules came into force’. 

From the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region to some of Georgia’s ancient monastreries like Gremi, Alaverdi or Nekresi monasteries in Kakheti, the landmarks of the cities from Tbilisi and Batumi, even the rope roads and cable cars in the town of Chiatura, towers in the village of Omalo, Tusheti, the ancient Uplistiskhe caves, and the Tserovani refugee camp bult after the war with Russia in 2008, is all in the focus of the photographs from Amos Chapple.
