To welcome the changing seasons, Gudauri, one of the most popular mountain resorts in Georgia, is to launch an interesting event for bookworms. On September 7, the Marco Polo Gudauri hotel will host the 4th edition of the LitFest Gudauri, bringing together 15 publishing houses and introducing a wide assortment of discounted products.
The exhibition-sales will not be the only activity offered at the venue as shoppers will get to hear live music and attend lectures and masterclasses from experts in the literary field. Levan Berdzenishvili will deliver a lecture on the tendencies of the modern literature, Ana Kordzaia-Samadashvili will speak about Group 47 and Ingeborg Bachmann, while those interested in business literature will have a chance to attend a masterclass lead by Soso Galumashvili.
Various entertaining activities and games are also to take place at the event, with lucky winners to be awarded special prizes. The festival will be completed with a performance by DJ Hatsvali.
Attendance is free and transportation can be provided upon request. Special transport has also been allocated to take the visitors from Tbilisi to Gudauri and back.
