GUEST RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE BEST HIGH-END STAY IN GEORGIA

Thomas Kimmeswenger, Executive Director of German Business Association DWV, tells us where he chooses to stay when traveling in Georgia.

The Biltmore

To get the right impression of Tbilisi, start your day with a nice coffee at the Xeme Restaurant on the 31st floor of the Biltmore Hotel. It not only offers a great view of most of the city but also lets you imagine all the possibilities it has to offer, and one can feel the vibes of Tbilisi just waking up.

Radisson Tsinandali Estate

The Radisson Tsinandali Estate, very well placed within the famous garden of Prince Chavachavadze, is definitely one of the most romantic places in Georgia. History is present in each and every step you take. Enjoy the terrace on the top floor with an amazing view of the Caucasus mountains.

Sheraton Grand Metechi Palace

Newly renovated and with lots of space for any kind of event the Sheraton Grand is one of the most popular venues in the city. Stylish rooms, a great spa, several opportunities to wine and dine and not to forget “free parking”. You have to go for the Steak Tenderloin and enjoy the marvelous view of Tbilisi from the “Ati Restaurant”.

Crowne Plaza

Borjomi is a very interesting place. So many different forms of architecture and contrast you can find here. The area around the Crown Place can easily be taken for a place in Switzerland. The hotel offers some very good services to relax and leave city life behind. What I am still missing as an “Austrian Style Coffee Shop”

Hilton Batumi

Since I am in Georgia the change Batumi faced is astonishing. Plenty of new hotels and buildings to keep all the tourists happy and satisfied. The Hilton Batumi is the place to be. Great rooms with a perfect view. Be careful not to spend the whole stay at the balcony and miss out on Batumi night life.
