The Crazy Pomegranate (გიჟი ბროწეული) opened in Spring 2018. The restaurant is connected to American-Georgian winemaker John Wurdeman's Pheasants' Tears  winery in Sighnaghi. In fact, its nestled among the vines themselves. 

It is open only by reservation with a 10 person minimum, but it's worth getting a group together for such a unique and creative approach to local food. Such creativity is particularly rare outside of Tbilisi. 

They offer tastings and seasonal meals with wine pairings crafted by chef Ketevan Mindorashvili. The decor is a beautiful - celebrating the natural landscape with traditional elements on a clean, simple base.
