THE SKY IS NO LONGER THE LIMIT: DINNER IN THE SKY NOW IN TBILISI!

The world’s most unique dining experience, now available in Georgia!

What is ‘Dinner in the Sky’? It is a Belgian success story in the skies of more than 70 countries with more than 12 years’ experience. A flying dinner table suspended from a crane. An exclusive experience, 50 meters high in the sky.  Dinner in the Sky is based on two golden words guiding all their activities: Exclusivity and Safety.

Concept - This is a surrealist story of the kind Belgium loves so much. In May 2006, Hakuna Matata, a communications agency specialized in gourmet pleasures, and The Fun Group, a company specialized in amusement park installations deploying cranes, joined forces and made a child’s dream come true: a flying dinner table baptized the Dinner in the Sky which served as the venue for 22 Young European Restaurant Owners to don their white chef’s hat. In past years, Dinner in the Sky has criss-crossed the skies of 70 countries… In all European countries as well as in also in Dubai, the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, India, South-Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Canada and China.

Over time, they have arranged thousands of events in cities ranging from Paris to Las Vegas, as well as in Sydney, Cape Town, Dubai, Bogota and Sao Paulo. All these events were unique, one of a kind. They were incredible dinners, of course, such as the event organized in the skies above Monaco for Prince Albert, with France’s most highly ‘starred’ chef, Joel Robuchon, in command, but they also introduced new creative concepts such as a Beach Bar in the Sky, an Opera in the Sky with Lesley Garrett singing at the Tower of London, an Internet Café in the Sky for Nokia in Las Vegas and a Poker Match in the Sky at the Grand Prix Moto of Jerez.

The steel support structure of Dinner in the Sky fulfills the requirements of Standard 4112 of 1983, confirmed by TUV Rheinland. This obsession with safety is one of the reasons why Dinner in the Sky is now operating in over 70 countries and has gained official authorization from the toughest countries, including France, Canada, Australia and Israel.

Another important issue within Events in the Sky is innovation. This leads to develop a great many concepts allowing people to live their dreams. Innovation is why Meeting in the Sky (www.meetinginthesky.com) was launched, which gives companies the opportunity to organize a product presentation, a conference, a concert or a meeting for up to 30 guests at 50 meters altitude! Marriage in the Sky (www.marriageinthesky.com) offers couples the opportunity to get married just as they would in church- with a priest, witnesses, family members, friends and an organ, but in the clouds, among the angels and at 50 meters above ground. This platform can also be used for Swing in the Sky, which gives golfers the incredible experience of playing their swing from 50 meters in the sky!

Everything can be envisaged, and this perfectly illustrates that Dinner in the Sky is not offering a mere product, but an exclusive experience that can be customized by each and every client.

Georgia is the first country in the region presenting Dinner in the Sky for the public and, compared to other countries, the cost is relatively low.

‘Dinner in the Sky’ is a tourism product and has been honored with many international tourism awards for its unique restaurant concept in the gastronomy category. It plays such an important role in the tourism industry that in every country, the ministries of tourism and local authorities have chosen to partner with Dinner in the Sky.
