THE ENCHANTMENT OF THE NEW MZIURI CAFE

REVIEW

Nestled in the Mziuri Park in Vake, this café enchants all its visitors. The modern interior design and the exquisite cuisine are above the usual standards. The team of engaged coffee lovers doesn’t just run the café, but lives it. Big windows allow the sun to penetrate the room, lighting up the trendy furniture. The hipster touch of the interior design goes well with the obvious hang to the 60s & 70s. But don’t be mistaken; the place doesn’t suffocate in The Beatles or Pink Floyd pictures, rather exhibiting subtle indications to the introspectiveness of the peace movement.

Little quotes remember times absent of modern technology, yet Wi-Fi still accompanies the modern tourist in his quest to understand the Georgian capital. Special attention should be given to the cook, who has won various awards and competitions due to his delicious fare. A surprise came in learning that the cafe provides catering services to events- and is growing enormously in popularity for doing so. a little door shows the way to the underground kitchen, where the cook hides behind basic stoves. The minimalist furnishing doesn’t keep him from creating artistic dishes, though, which are a pleasure not only for the taste buds but for the eyes too.

A spacious outside area allows guests to settle at tables to enjoy lunch or sip on a cappuccino. The sun-rays directly hit the terrace, giving you the opportunity to luxuriate in the warmth. There are few spots in the city which generate such a homey and welcoming ambiance as Café Mziuri.

Find it in the Middle of Mziuri Park, Vake, Tbilisi
