DON'T MISS THE AUGUST-SEPTEMBER ISSUE OF WHERE.GE MAGAZINE!

As I wrote in my address to Russian President Vladimir Putin, published in our June-July issue of WHERE.ge, the answer to the question – where to go, stay, eat, drink and buy – has never been as clear as it is now, in the summer of 2019, when Putin decided to ban flights from Russia to Georgia.

Of course, there is one and only one answer: Georgia! An ancient country where Georgians host travelers from around the globe openheartedly and with a sense of responsibility to the guest, who they perceive as a gift sent by God.

This unique culture of hospitability has the same history and age as Christianity here. While we all know that Georgia is one of the oldest Christian countries in the world, we should also emphasize that Georgia is at the same time one of the oldest countries with hospitability in its DNA, as for almost seventeen centuries we, Georgians, have seen God in every guest…

Moreover, as leading modern scientists have concluded, Georgia is the oldest country of winemaking and wine culture- with the first known signs of winemaking found on Georgian territory proving to be 8000 years old.

This means, that more than 6000 years before Christianity was declared the state religion, in 337 A.D., Georgians were already producing wine.

For whom? Of course, for the guest first of all, as the wine made in almost every Georgian family is made with guests in mind.

So, if you, our respected reader, want to eat, drink and experience everything of superb quality, go to Georgia, stay in Georgia, eat in Georgia, drink in Georgia and buy in Georgia.

You have the privilege to be our guest. Don’t miss this unique opportunity…
